Terms of Service

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
• You must pass our ID and selfie verification before your profile becomes visible.
• You may have only one account, and it must represent you, not another person or business.
• You must not have been removed from Sugar before.
• You must not be prohibited by law from using the service.

• Offering, requesting or arranging sexual services for money, escorting or any exchange of payment for company.
• Asking any member for money, gifts, gift cards, crypto, loans, fees or investments.
• Human trafficking, acting on behalf of another person or promoting any of these.
• Explicit or sexual content in profiles, photos or public areas.
• Any contact with or content involving anyone under 18.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, impersonation, fake or stolen photos.
• Spam, advertising, commercial solicitation or recruiting members for other services.
• Using bots, scrapers or automated messages.

We may hold, review, restrict or remove any profile, message or account that breaks these terms or the community guidelines, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Removal for a violation does not entitle you to any refund.

• Sugar has no free accounts. Using the service requires a paid membership: Essential, Premium or Elite, billed monthly or yearly at the prices shown on pricing.
• Before signup you may build one profile preview. It is not a membership.
• Memberships renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
• Moving to a higher plan starts at once and the price difference is charged immediately. Moving to a lower plan applies from the next period.
• Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may apply.

You can cancel any time in your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

All payments are final and non-refundable, including for unused time. We refund only in these cases: a duplicate charge for the same period, a charge you can show you did not authorize, or a complete failure of the service on our side that we cannot fix. If you live where the law gives you a right to withdraw from an online contract, that right ends once the service starts at your request, which you confirm at checkout.

You keep ownership of the photos and text you post. You give us a limited license to host and show them to other members according to your settings, only to run the service. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post and that it shows you.

Verification lowers risk but cannot remove it. Use your own judgment, keep conversations in the app until you trust someone and meet first in a public place. Read our safety advice. Report anything that breaks these terms.

Sugar is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for the conduct of members on or off the service, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, puts members at risk or is required by law to be closed.
