How Sugar Mommy Dating Works, Step by Step

Before you sign up, you can build your own profile card once: your city, the age range you want to meet, up to four lifestyle interests and what you are looking for. Sugar drafts a headline and an About me you can edit, and shows you the exact search filters you will use. Verified members stay hidden until you have an account.

Enter your email, a password and your date of birth. You must be 18 or older. We send a 6-digit code to your inbox, you type it in the same window, and your account is confirmed. Then you choose your plan on the pricing page.

Upload a government photo ID and take a short selfie. We check that you are an adult and that the person in your photos is you. Only after this check does your profile become visible, with the Verified badge next to your name. Elite members get same-day priority verification.

Add public photos (6 on Essential, 12 on Premium, 20 on Elite), a headline, an About me and the section "What I am looking for": relationship style, lifestyle, availability and travel. On Premium and Elite you can keep a private album and open it to one member at a time.

Search by age range, city and distance, lifestyle, what someone is looking for, last active and verified only. Each day Sugar suggests profiles that fit both your preferences and theirs: 5 on Essential, 15 on Premium, 25 on Elite. Premium members save searches and get an email when someone new fits.

Conversations stay inside Sugar, so you never need to share your phone number or email to talk. Premium adds read receipts and the list of who viewed and liked you. Photos in chat can only be shared with contacts you have accepted.

Every profile and every conversation has Report and Block. On Elite, private mode shows your profile only to men you have liked or written to, incognito browsing hides your visits, and the message filter lets only verified men within your age range and city write to you.
